PHOTOGRAPHY IS MY PASSION.
I am not a portrait photographer, nor am I a lifestyle, event, landscape, travel, architectural, glamour, editorial, sports, or commercial photographer. What I am is an equal opportunity image hunter who never passes up an opportunity to make life more vibrant. I torture my equipment and endure torrents of rain and gales of bitter cold to wrestle an image into submission without a vestige of guilt. Awards? Yes. Magazine covers? Sure, why not. Over the years, I have been gaining full control over light - dimming the sun at will during the day and releasing its power at night.
I picked up my first DSLR in 2010, but photography is not a means to an end for me – I have a full-time military career that pays the bills and satiates the toy-cravings of my raucous nest of 8, 12, 16-year-old daughters and a rambunctious puppy. My astonishing wife tolerates my endeavors and loves me tirelessly, so that I am free to confront the next photographic challenge. I learn by example and have drawn much inspiration from photographers who never bothered to learn the definition of 'impossible'. My aspirations are simple because I know that I can never be the world’s best photographer.
I AM A PHOTOGRAPHER WHO MAKES AN EFFORT TO BE A LITTLE BETTER TODAY THAN I WAS YESTERDAY.
